Meet Axel

Helping others to be all they can be!

Leadership has always fascinated me. I was born in a navy town in northern Germany and surrounded by the call to serve. After completing what would be equivalent to an associates degree in the United States, I joined the Air Force, and not the Navy, as everybody expected, to see the world from the perspective of a fighter jet.

I was given the opportunity to fly, to train others how to fly, to command a school, and ultimately to be the senior projects manager of the largest new training facility the countries of Germany and the United States have built together. During almost 22 years of service I saw individuals turn into followers, some into false leaders who blindly do what the system tells them to do, and some into admired leaders.

Familiar with the dynamics and experiences from a successful military career, I retired and began to explore leadership in the corporate world. A software company in Santa Barbara, California recruited me and allowed me to develop an international training and customer service division.

Having worked in training, educating, mentoring and helping people for more than a quarter of a century, I finally became a certified coach. That lead me into my first own business.

Since 2005 I have started several companies, provide international lectures to multiple universities, serve on speaking engagements and support universities and their students on three continents.
